There is something for everyone in Norfolk – it’s a wonderful place to live and visit! Whether you want a relaxing break or a more adventurous time – you’ll be spoilt for choice.

The Norfolk Coast and Broads can be easily reached by car or cycle with extensive sandy beaches of resorts like Cromer (10 miles), Sheringham (14 miles), Overstrand and Mundesley (8 miles).

Travel along the beautiful and scenic Coast Road from Sheringham (A149) and you and you will pass through Cley, Blakeney and Wells.  Please stop and explore all of these wonderful places as there is so much to do and beaches to explore. Further along you will reach Holkham Hall and gardens, a privately owned and lived in family home.  Open to the public for the Summer months.  Please check on their website for opening days and times.

Fine National Trust Properties, Blickling Hall (3 miles), Felbrigg Hall (10 miles) and Sheringham Park (13 miles).

Walking

Weavers Way, Marriotts Way and the Norfolk Coastal path are nearby.

Cycling

This is a good cycling area.  Many quiet routes to the coast and the Norfolk Broads.

Shopping

The fine City of Norwich is an excellent shopping base with the acclaimed Castle Mall Shopping Centre and Chapelfield Shopping Centre.  seaside town of Cromer is only a 10 minute drive and the City of Norwich is only a 25 minute drive.  The nearest market town of Aylsham, 4 miles (a famous Cittaslow town) has a variety of shops, excellent butchers, restaurants, supermarkets and Bure Valley Steam Railway.

The nearest small village shop is just 2 miles.
